Red Wine & Chocolate 2009 - Save the Date!

Mark your calendars! The Olympic Peninsula Wineries will once again host the popular Red Wine & Chocolate Tour over two delicious weekends, February 7-8 and February 14,15,16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy award-winning red wines and new wine releases paired with a variety of chocolate delights ranging from sweet to savory. Wine specials will be available throughout the event.

On Saturday, Feb. 7, Cedar Creek Restaurant in Sequim will host a four-course Winemaker Dinner featuring seven locally produced wines. The event begins at

    We had a fantastic time on the red wine and chocolates tour. We were a group of 5, including a designated driver, and would like to share our thoughts on the experience. One wish was that all the wineries had more snacks or appetizers to eat, the cheese and crackers, etc. were greatly appreciated! In particular, Harbinger had a great presentation, matching chocolates to each wine, as well as a table of apps. Also, offering a VIP room was a good option, and one we should have taken advantage of! One winery offered our driver a glass of sparkling cider even. All in all, this was a wonderful day spent together and we can hardly wait for April 18-19 wine and cheese!!
